Service Manager – Salary + Incentives

We have an immediate opening for a Service Manager in the Columbia area.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage vehicle service queue
  • Provide service quotes to customers
  • Assign/monitor workload of mechanics and technicians
  • Oversee purchase/transfer of outside items
  • Serve as liaison between customer and mechanics/technicians
  • Perform duties of other shop personnel, including mechanics and technicians, as necessary
  • Carefully inspect vehicles being serviced; notify salesperson if any additional services/products are needed
  • Perform regular maintenance of equipment as directed
  • Operate the machines and tools related to job responsibilities
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in auto repair required
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to explain complex repairs in layman’s terms

Compensation and Benefits

  • $45,000-$80,000 per year, including performance incentives
